Consultation & Training
Clinical consultation, supervision, and training for therapists, teams, and organizations.
I provide consultation and training for clinicians and organizations seeking evidence-based mental health support grounded in real-world practice. While my primary clinical training is in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and its adaptations, this work is not limited to DBT alone. I work with clinicians and organizations who want support thinking critically about complex cases, program development, team functioning, and the practical realities of delivering mental health care in demanding settings.
This work is collaborative, grounded, and responsive — not prescriptive or one-size-fits-all
Consultation & Supervision for Clinicians
This may include support with:
Complex case conceptualization
Managing risk, emotion dysregulation, and high-acuity presentations
Maintaining fidelity to evidence-based models while adapting to real-world constraints
Navigating therapist burnout, overwhelm, and moral distress
Strengthening clinical judgment and confidence over time
Supervision is available for:
Graduate-level social work and psychotherapy students completing required clinical supervision hours
Clinicians completing supervision requirements toward registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
Clinicians completing supervision requirements toward registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
Registered and practicing therapists seeking ongoing clinical consultation beyond formal supervision requirements
The focus is on developing sustainable, ethical practice, not perfection.
DBT-Informed Consultation and Training
I offer consultation and training related to Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), including support for clinicians and organizations working with DBT-informed or comprehensive DBT models.
This may include:
consultation for clinicians implementing DBT in individual practice
support for teams working toward or maintaining comprehensive DBT programming
training related to skills use, treatment structure, and consultation team processes
guidance on integrating DBT principles within broader clinical frameworks
DBT consultation is grounded in adherence and integrity, while also recognizing the realities of different practice settings.
Training for Organizations and Non-Clinical Professionals
Training and consultation are available for organizations and professionals who support populations impacted by emotion dysregulation, trauma, and chronic stress.
This may include:
workshops for educators, coaches, and support staff
training on mental health literacy, early warning signs, and appropriate response
skills-based training adapted for non-clinical settings
consultation on developing mental health-informed systems and policies
This work emphasizes clarity around scope, role boundaries, and collaboration with clinical services when needed.
